The FMA 2000 Alumni Website has received the following awards. I am honored by the recognition. However; these awards
belong to every Alumnus as they reflect the quality of the people, past and present, that consider themselves to be members of this elite group of individuals that make up the FMA Corps of Cadets and those
who inspired us along the way. Stephen Swain stated this thought quite clearly in his 1975 FMA Salutatorian address, "Let it be
our prayer that wherever we go and whatever we do, people will see Frederick Military Academy reflected in us". Below is what others have said in bestowing their award and a
second page for some selected messages from our non-alumni visitors. Obsolete award links have been disabled. |

Awarded February 2003

"Congratulations! The Frederick Military Academy Alumni Website has been reviewed and chosen to bear the
prestigious 2003-2004 Golden Web Award. You and your staff have obviously worked very hard. Only the best sites are voted to receive the Golden Web Award. The criterion for winning remains a challenge to
even the best Webmaster, artists and designers. That being said, the primary benefit of the Golden Web Award
is the recognition of your commitment to the pursuit of website excellence. Further, it represents that your work is considered an outstanding website, incorporating high standards of design, originality and content. Most importantly, the Golden Web Award lets others know you're viewed as a respected professional by your peers, one who is deserving of recognition."
