LATE FEE to be assessed for registrations received after May 31st!
In a telephone conversation with Marilyn Rowland on Sunday, May 4th, it was announced that there will be a ten dollar ($10.00) late fee tacked on to the regular registration fee if it is received
after May 31st. There are still some good rooms available but any Alumni that are considering coming to this year's 50th Golden Anniversary Reunion
needs to commit themselves, sign-up and make reservations as soon as possible. This is a very special reunion gathering marking 50 years since the opening of FMA in 1958. You may CLICK HERE
to get the printable form to download, fill out and mail in to Marilyn with your check or money order. Do it now, before you forget about it, and put it on the back burner, again.
Fulton O. Wright, 88, former Supply Hall Officer passes away. After retiring from 21 years of highly decorated service in the U. S. Navy, F. O.
attended every gathering hosted by the FMA Alumni Association. He always spoke of his association to FMA with pride and looked forward to every opportunity to break out
his collection of FMA Yearbooks to reminisce with friends. Fulton appeared outwardly quiet but beneath his quiet exterior was a man with a keen sense of humor that never
lost his eye for pretty ladies; politely referring to them as "teddy bears" which to anyone that knew him, was just being himself. F. O. passed away February 14, 2008 and is
survived by his wife, Estelle who also made every reunion. Even when F. O. could not attend the last reunion due to illness, he sent along a message to everyone that was
read by Janice Outland. At the 2004 reunion, the Alumni Association set up an oversized card for him for everyone to sign.
Ann H. Drake, 64, passes away, also in February.
Former FMA TAC Officer, Jean Drake's wife passed away on February 4, 2008.
Coach Rufus and Janice Outland attended the funeral Mass in Ahoskie on February 12th, 2008

- Art Taylor: In Search Of Missing Alumni
Arthur "Tee" Taylor contacted me recently and wanted me to post the list of names below whom he is looking for current addresses. The alumni Art is looking for are: Thomas E. Holt, Allan L. Hopkins, Randall D. (Randy) Lindsay and David (Davis?) L. Stone. See the related story and a link to Art on the Alumni Only News Page.
- Login Problems? Try This Workaround
It has been reported that some Alumni have been unsuccessful in logging-in to the Alumni Only Site. Our domain administrator looked into the situation and his investigation revealed
"no problems with the log in function of the protected site". If you receive a message such as
"you are not authorized to view this page" or "page not
found" contact the Webmaster through the link below or by phone at 918.519.4457. In
the meantime, after you have attempted to login, immediately returned to the public site and try clicking on any of the green read more links following most headlines. You
should be able to jump between the private site and public site without having to login each time, for as long as you keep your browser open. Once the FMA server logs your
unique identifier into the system, you shouldn't have to log back in again. You will be asked for the password ONLY if you attempt to access one of the few Alumni Only
pages on the public site. This is normal in protecting certain stories on the public site.
When you login using Internet Explorer, you are presented with a log in window with
three blank fields which requests the user name, password and domain. Leave the domain field blank. If you are using Netscape Navigator 6 or 7, you will receive a
window with two fields; user name and password. Should you receive a log in request in relation to a firewall, use the same two access codes that you would use to enter the protected site.
Should you receive a login prompt when moving from a secure page to an unsecured page, click the cancel button. When shown the "you are not authorized to view this page" prompt, hit the refresh
button on your browser and the correct page should be displayed.
- If Requesting Access Codes or Passwords...
To insure your request for these access codes is seen by the Webmaster and not rejected by ANTI SPAM programs installed by my ISP, PLEASE type something on
the subject line of your message. Preferably "access codes" or "password". The link in the preceding sentence will automatically place text in the subject field of your
message if you are using a resident E-mail program such as Netscape Mail, Outlook or Eudora. I am not familiar with how web based E-mail accounts interpret subject line
encoding within an address. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please contact me at my personal address found on the Alumni Only, Addresses page.
